49 BC — Julius Caesar crosses the Rubicon, occupies Rome and drives Pompey away, starting the civil war. The first Triumvirate formed in the year of Crassus, Pompey and Caesar, fell apart in 60 BC, after the death of Crassus and after in 52 BC, the Senate of Rome accepts the appointment of Pompey as “Consul himself colleague” , with the mission to restore order.
