Have you heard of Salvador Dali?
The Spaniard Salvador Dali, real name Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dali, born on May 11, 1904 in Figueras, is one of the most important surrealist painters of the 20th century. Under the influence of Renaissance masters and with his penchant for the imaginary world, Dali naturally turned to painting from an early age. A few months before his birth, his older brother of the same name died.
